About the Safety Showcase
The Safety Showcase open call demonstrates innovative tech products that inspire and support an industry shift towards safer technology for women and girls, in turn increasing their freedom of expression online. Supporters of the Safety Showcase comprise the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Numun Fund, the United Kingdom’s Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO), with contributions from Australia's eSafety Commissioner.
Next Steps
Upon review of submissions, ten innovators will be invited to present their products as part of the Safety Showcase series, taking place at trust and safety, digital rights, and gender-based violence convenings, culminating in a Safety Showcase event during the 69th UN Commission on the Status of Women in March 2025. It’s time to co-create, safely test, iterate, explore, share your work, and get creative juices flowing!
